Need help, Web Hosting!!!?

Web hosting, now there are free web hosting,

I have a few questions

First on average how much bytes does one site a person made has...a person opened his online business, I know it won't be as big of a site as like NFL.com where yea...but on average, how much bytes does one site a person makes has from his own like from scratch??????

My second question is I saw web hosting, now the cheapest I found was 7 bucks a month, free domain, and 3500 gb of disk space...can someone tell me is that a good amount of space for a website or no? A site wit songs, and info ****. like a whole website about an artist?

My final question is does anyone know any other web hosting that are good price wit lots of disk space?

Thanks in advance for you help...

If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.

Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukend...

They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 300000 MB (300 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well.

Visit the site to check details.

Being able to host multiple sites on one account might seem like an attractive option... but what happens when one account gets so much traffic (from being mentioned in a blog or somthing, maybe) that the account gets locked? Then all your websites are affected. Report It

Reply:Your website size depends on the files you upload , if you have graphic, audio and video files, you will take up more space. You can get a cheaper rate if you search for coupons, there are many available. From http://ww9.info
Reply:well ok each site rather free or not has their own space and bandwidth. 7 a month is exspensive. average is hard to say because we don't know what you made or plan on using it for. meaning we don't know what you plan on uploading.

as for webhosting i would check out godaddy. i can never say anything bad about them. they always have checked my concerns and issues. i pay 80 a year with domain thats has a private registration. they also have cheaper accounts. as for space thats on you. i forget what they gave me. i do have a forum. http://aresforum.net it's huge.
Reply:For a site that will potentially have a lot of traffic, there is something that is even MORE important than the bandwidth and disk space statistics that everyone is tossing around.

What with more and more websites being full-blown web applications. For example, let's a shopping cart like osCommerce or ZenCart, a content management system like Drupal or Joomla. Now throw in a good mailing list manager (for all those opt-in newsletters to promote the site and your products)... say, PHPList.

All of these things are PHP applications that rely on data being stored on MySQL database.

The critical bottleneck here will be CPU USAGE. On a shared hosting environment, anything that hogs more than, say, 4% of CPU time, is likely to get banned/blocked.

Which means that really knowing how to configure the web application(s) that you're using for maximum efficiency will be crucial.

That said, let me throw in a link to my favorite web host...

Reply:Well, it really depends. I recommend going with a host who can be flexible and if you need more space you can just upgrade. With that being said you might want to check out http://www.tnederlof.com

They are usually flexible and you can IM them anytime. Good luck!
