What is a good web host....?

What is a good, CHEAP, web host. I'm planning to use it to set up and maintain an email announcement list.
What is a good web host....?
http://www.LocoDomains.com or http://www.JuicyHosting.com they both are very very good
What is a good web host....?
I use http://www.solarsystemweb.com

You can get everything set up for only $12 if you get an economy hosting account with a domain name.

I know you get free email accounts with the name, and it's only a few dollars more per year to set up full email accounts.

Reply:Solar System Web is good
Reply:If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.

Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukend...

They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 300000 MB (300 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well.

Visit the site to check details.

Reply:Often times cheap web hosting providers only give you one database, or charge you extra for adding new domains to the same account.

Other things to consider are the number of databases and web site templates that come with the account, in case you decide to grow your site in the future (Wordpress for blogging, Drupal for content management, etc). In short, you get what you pay for :-)

Fortunately prices have gone way down for good web hosting. I only pay $5.95 a month for my Hostmonster account, and I run 15 web sites off that one account.

I've used Lunarpages and HostMonster, and recommend them both for their features, price, and technical support. They both offer a free domain name and you can host unlimited domains with a single account using HostMonster.

There's a comparison of web hosting features and prices at the link below, as well as a list of hosts to avoid (including godaddy, yahoo, and others that are way overpriced).
Reply:I think you can try visiting http://www.xekom.com they have a list of top hosting companies with different packages and deals...may be you can find what you are looking for
Reply:I would recommend a host based in America. Most hosts shut down after the first year so you should choose one that has been business for 5+ years.

This host is cheap and includes email mailing list feature. Very reliable and great live chat tech support.

I would recommend this site for the updated current deals:

Reply:http://DomainSlate.com offers hosting starting at $3.99/month. You can spend less per month if you purchase 12 months in advance or more. Also if you do you can use the discount codes on their home page to save a bit more.

This site lists most of the best web hosting companies. I'd probably go with Startlogic.
