What are the cheapest websites for purchasing web domain/hosting?

I've been looking around but I'm looking for a fairly cheap price. The lowest I've found is a one year plan for $20/year

There are many good webhosting sites.

Visit

http://www.nicewebhosts.com

there you will find best web hostings compared with their webspace and bandwidth as well as their prices.

Hope you find the right one.
Reply:you cannot compare web hosting totally on price. if you do that you will regret later on when you know more stuff about online biz. first you need to write what actually you would like to do with your web space. what is your requirement. how many site you want to setup maybe within one or two years. you need to get some knowledge first otherwise you will find yourself have to switch web host or upgrade to higher price plan to do what you want to do. so i suggest don't compare price and try to avoid unlimited domain and unlimited bandwidth. those two are not practical.
Reply:Try this one:

$4/month for hosting including the domain name.

$6/year for the domain name alone - which includes a 5 page

website, your own email address, etc.
Reply:Cheapest isn't usually the best. You should look to spend around $5 - 7 a month.

Try companies such as Bluehost or Startlogic.

http://www.getawebpage.net - that site lists the best hosting companies in the business.
Reply:Well make sure that the money u are paying for is returned by good service. What i want to say is that dont just choose by the amount of money u r gonna pay for the whole year...but what u also need to find out how good the hosting service is??? what is the use of paying just $20 / year when the uptime is not even 50%????...hope u get my point....what i suggest is dont just go by the cost but decide on what u r gonna get after u end up being there customer.

R u gonna get customer satisfaction or a year full of headaches???? i think u should try visiting http://xekom.com/affordable_webhosting.a... where they have listed the best affordable hosting companies with excellent reputation...if u like u can go for them or otherwise stick to the one that u find the best....good luck.
